"SNOW ON THE TREES" -- Fresh snow clinging to evergreens at sunrise marks the beginning of winter at Clingmans Dome in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park is located on the border of North Carolina and Tennessee in the southern Appalachian mountains.
